I just found your website/facebook page today. Wow....I totally admire you! I signed up for the Cellcom 1/2 marathon for 2010. I have never done anything longer than a 10k, and haven't done a 10k in 5 years. I am excited and scared, and after listening to your video updates I am inspired! Awesome Awesome Awesome...so proud of you! Keep Sharin!

You are an inspiration. I'm 42 and in pretty bad shape but recently started running and hitting the gym. Thanks - keep it up...

No blog in the past couple days, what's going on? Hope you're hanging tough, if there's anything I can do to help, you got my number. Don't hesitate to give me a call.

Haven't heard from you in a while, but I see that you're still working at it. My invitation to come workout at 24 Hour Fitness at Town and Country still stands so I look forward to seeing you soon. In the meantime, hope you're enjoying the cooler weather, it's been really nice over the past couple days.

Welcome to the 24 Hour Fitness Family! I'm glad you like the gym. It's open 24/7 everyday of the year, except on Christmas Day. I'm looking forward to workout out with you at T & C one of these days.- Mon/wed/fri @ 7 am. I'm getting ready for a few fall marathon and half marathons so everything I do is about 30% 1RM and high reps, 25+.

Oh that is such a sad yet motivational story about your divorce and loss of your job. Why did they eliminate your job after just one month? Anyways, glad you could get back down to the 320's

It's been a while since I've checked your site. Sounds like you're doing good with the training, but how are you doing with the nutrition? Checkout Livestrong.com and register to use The Daily Plate (my plate). It will help you count your calories, and keep them under control. I'll be at the Marine Corps Marathon in October. It's 3 months out, let's make a big push for it.

Your story is inspiring! I am running my first half marathon this fall and I am scared of the course closing down before the three hour time limit. I'll be thinking of you when I am out ther.

Bang Bang, Skitt Skitt, Woot Woot.. Keep it up... Every time I run I keep repeating my mantra "This Run Defines You Finish Up" no matter if I'm running 3 or 12 miles...

Saw the new video. GREAT camera. Actually that was a good and "spoken from the heart" video. All the best. Losing weight is HARD!!! Make sure you are taking plenty of protein. BTW, it looked really cold there!!!

Dude, You are awesome & inspiring! I weigh about 50 lbs. more than I want to be and am trying to train for a half-marathon. I know the feeling of people looking at you like you're crazy that you're trying to run when overweight. Just keep on believing! I will do the same! We will persevere!

Leslie, I've been thinking about this since I read your post on the 11th. I offer this humble position: This is a great time for you. You would be a rockstar, had you ran and finished that long run at WDW. However, perhaps you're destined to something even bigger. Now, you are able to show that even from a downturn you can prevail. This would make possible an even greater inspiration. Something tells me you're not in this for distinction though. I have a feeling that you don't really need any encouragement either. Sure it's nice to hear from all that you're efforts are inspiring. Let's be honest, you've been strong enough to come this far. There's no doubt that you'll heal and beat the pavement some more(it deserves a real good beating). Probably far more than you would ever know, you've inspired, empowered, and nfluenced. It's not your performance or your accomplishment. It's your strength, courage, heart, and most of all your vision that can things be different. That one is not doomed to a self appointed fate. "All things worth doing are hard to do." I don't know who said that, but it sure does make sense. Thanks for giving it your all. Looking forward to following your progress.
